I've gotten a taste of Real Estate Development and I am hooked. I am interested in making a career move. I've taken classes at NYU Real Estate Institute.. Three Questions

1) What's your opinion about the makings of a stand-out professional in portfolio management and/or asset management in Real Estate?

2) Where are the gatherings held in NYC to network effectively?

3) Is a real estate license required to secure an internship in Real Estate w/ a real estate developer?
