Building an ADU vs purchasing a pre fabricated tiny home(ADU)

I am looking into purchasing a SFR with around 7000, sq ft lot. The plan is to rehab the main house followed by building 3 ADUs in the back, then flipping or holding afterwards.

The area is a bit rough and will be going with basic builder grade finishes .

Question: has anyone ever purchased pre made tiny homes instead of building the ADUs on site? I just doing started doing research on this but if I can go this route and its cheaper then this could very well save me time and money.

If anyone has a personal experience going through this or knows the pros and cons and if this is even doable any insight would helpful!
