San Pedro Building Permits
Hey guys,
This is directed towards investors/contractors in San Pedro, CA. My architect submitted a building permit to legalize an UDU (Unpermitted Dwelling Unit) It’s been almost 6 months And no response. There’s no record of submission with the LA Department of Building and safety. Apparently he E-Submitted the application and they are very backlogged so that’s why it’s not in system. Should I be worried? I’m new to the permit system so not sure if this is normal timing for getting approvals in San Pedro or with LA department of building and safety.
Thanks!
