Building a fourplex in LA, looking for rough estimates

Marcus Olsson
Posted

I'm looking at a property in West Hollywood, LA, its an existing house already but its just a tare down. I want to build a 2 story house with 2 condos in each floor approximately 1500-2000 sqft each. I'm use to work with prices per square meters (like square feet here) but I'm finding it hard to get any good estimates. Does any one here got any experience of what to expect? No land or financial cost, just everything else. From the groundwork to the doorbell, what price per square foot is a good number for rough budgeting. I'm looking to build on the high end side of finishes, materials etc and also need parking spaces 2 per unit and thinking rooftops for the top floors and outdoor areas for the bottoms.

Really appreciate any help,

Marcus
