Duplex Remodel City of Atlanta

Leeya Kremer
Posted

We recently purchased a 1925 duplex and plan to renovate and keep it as a duplex. Then we realized its zone as an R-4. Would we have any problem during permit?

We are still waiting to here back from the zoning department of city of Atlanta.

Would this property be considered as a legal non conforming property? Or do we have to get the property rezoned to an R-5?

Does any one have any experience with this situation in City of Atlanta?

Thank you for your in put in advance.
