I鈥檓 from Greenville ... however grew up in the Spbg area and went to undergraduate at Upstate. Honestly , my attention is focused on holding properties in the Spartanburg area due the amount of colleges, close proximities to Miliken Plant, BMW, Adidas, sub contractors for BMW, Walgreens Distribution and so much more.
I鈥檝e connected with several investors and they all agree. Several city project initiatives are coming the Spartanburg to help vitality similar to Downtown Greenville.
If you are familiar with Spartanburg you can visibly see the transition today verses 2-3 years ago . Of course location matters 馃憣馃従.
@Derek Robinson From the pics it looks like a D-class property with cinder block construction. Not something for my investment dollars. I don't think you will see too much increase in value/appreciation over time with that type of asset.
As a general rule, I don't invest in Spartanburg as there are not too many blue chip companies there and I don't really see much development/population growth. Now Greenville, SC on the other hand...I'm all over that market!
