What should i do if im just starting?

i dont know where to start. I have been reading, watching videos and practicing but i dont where to begin.

You could find someone who's doing what you want to do and offer to do work for them for free.  You'll learn a bunch, and you may even convince them to start compensating you with equity or profit in deals.  Another way to get started is simple house-hacking... come up with enough down to buy a house, duplex, or fourplex and rent out rooms/units so you live for free.  You can use that to save up for your next purchase.

Point being. Real Estate is a team game and everyone has a strength. Find yours and then double down on it.

Go to meetups and begin to network with people. Add value the their weaknesses.

You'll grow a lot faster that way.

This has been a struggle of mine as well.

I educated myself on a lot of different avenues. From there, I looked at what things I felt the most passionate about, what I felt fit my current life and financial standing. In other words, what I loved the most and could start with today.

In response to @Ethan Smith, I don't believe you need to money to make money. I used to think this, until I discovered bigger pockets.

What do the always say on the podcast? Something like, all you need is 2 of the following 3 things: knowledge, hustle, money.

Agreed with many of the others above.

If you feel that you are thoroughly educated on the niche that you want to pursue, then you should be networking and attending meetups to help build your team/network.  If you do not know what you want to do yet, then you need to take a step back and figure out what real estate niche you want to pursue, get educated and then take action and network.

Find partners, find your team, keep learning. Have you decided what niche you're investing in? What strategies within that niche you will use? Once you do, then start learning about that and meeting people doing what you want to do. Eventually you will need to start taking action and begin making offers and buying properties/executing on your niche

Welcome to BP - you're already on the right foot I can tell!

I would advise you to figure out which niche of RE investing you are interested in doing; Fix/Flip, Buy & Hold, Wholesaling, Note Investing. Once you figure this out, FOCUS solely on learning that via books, forums, videos, etc. Through this, you will learn what a good way to start is.

Start networking and attending your REIA groups and getting involved in the scene. Find someone who is doing what you want to do and just mirror them!
