Hi, My name is Ashton Ilsley and I am 18 years old, I have for the past two years had the thought of Real estate and “owning apartment complexes” pop into my head countless times. I am now at the point in life where I am ready to take the next step into Real estate. I am eager to learn and get started. I am completely and absolutely devoted to this and am willing to make changes and take sacrifices to get to where I want to be.I stumbled upon BiggerPockets and I am thrilled to learn about this industry. My main goal on this post is to get myself out there and hopefully gain relationships with anyone willing to help/Mentor me on my journey. I can’t wait to see where this road takes me in life and I am super stoked to get started in Real Estate Investing! ( my main focus currently is Apartment complexes)

Good for you! I'm happy to help you in any way I can, feel free to reach out. My advice- get the "apartment complex" idea out of your head for a while. Baby steps. House hack- learn the business, learn how to be landlord, learn how to find a great deal on a small scale and built equity while you do that. Eventually you will put yourself in a place where you could buy an apartment complex, but that's not a good place to start, you have a long journey ahead of you. If you start out with the end goal as your first step, you'll be very discouraged very quickly.

Good luck!
