New to the investing Family

Hi all! I am new to the investing family and I am really excited to embark on this new journey. I have a few questions that I hope you could really give me some guidance on: 1. This forum is awesome, it’s also a bit intimidating. There’s so much information I don’t know where to start. Where would you recommend starting? 2. What are some best practices you learned when you were starting out? 3. What do you look for in a potential partner( individual and bank)? 4. I’m an avid reader, can you give me some of your top book or blog recommendations? I did reach Scott’s Set for Life and that was great. I’m excited to begin. Thank you all again! Looking forward to e-meeting you all!!

HI @Jarret Freeman and @Colby Fryar, don't be intimidated, we all started at ground 0 and climbed the way up. asking questions here on BP is a great way to learn.

I think reading books, listening to podcasts and joining a learning group is great way.

This post is in the Multifamily section, is that what you are after?

If yes, I can recommend reading the following:

Wheelbarrow Profits by @Gino Barbaro & Mr @Jake Stenziano

Investing in duplexes triplexes and quads - By: Book by Larry B. Loftis

Crushing it - by Brian Murray.

These books are an excellent start for you!!
