Hello, I am looking to invest $250k in cash savings in a multi family apartment building in the Dallas TX area. Could you please provide any recommendations for realtors who specialize in DFW multi family apartments? I am looking to put down 25% so looking at purchase prices up to $1.25mm. I’d like to earn a minimum cap rate of 5%. I am new to the area (previously in San Francisco, CA). Please feel free to direct message me if you are a broker and I’ll email you/setup a call. Thank you in advance.

@Account Closed Your inbox will be flooded now :) Word of advice: never post how much money you have.

As for investing your capital, what are your goals, objectives and criteria? For instance, do you want to own the property outright or invest through a syndicator (those aren't the only options, btw)? Without knowing your background and experience, it would be hard to say if you want to partner with someone who will educate you on the business or someone who will take your money and invest it for you. Furthermore, vetting the right managers/syndicators is an art in it of itself and requires patience, fortitude and education.

BP is a great forum where you can educate yourself at a very quick pace for practically zero $. I would suggest to use this resource first before investing your hard earned capital. After all, nobody cares about it more than you.

If you provide more color, we're always available to help and share our insights. Make sure you tag people (in comment box, type @ and you will see a list of people's name, select the one you want to address).

Best of luck!
