Subsidized Rental Units
I would love to know how you all feel about making maybe 1/3 of your units more affordable than the rest especially in or around major cities where the cost of living is significantly higher(DMV, NYC, California ect).
1. Is this a good longterm strategy for Apartments?
2. Do you need HUDs permission to do this?
3. Will you consider slightly raising rents over time for that 1/3 of the unit or will the price stay the same?
