Developing multifamily in Bellingham on family owned property

Kevin Ly
Posted

hello,

I am new to the forum but have been listening to BiggerPockets for awhile now, and have been having a hard time figuring out a successful route on developing a multifamily project on a property my family owns. the last couple of years there were develops that purchased three properties in our back yard and they are looking to develop a pretty good size multifamily units and now my parents are worried about privacy when that happens. Recently we've discussed about possibly tearing down the house and developing as well to help them with a starting portfolio but we have no clue on how to start. Anyone who has gone through a successful ground up multifamily development please reach out, i would love to pick your brain on the process
