Developing Your Company and Team

What follows is a discussion on how to improve your game and assemble your ideal squad. My preference for multifamily buildings grew as my real estate investing career progressed. They were true to their word and set me on the path to success. As a result, I bid farewell to homes with just one unit and dove headfirst into the multifamily real estate industry. That, it turns out, was the catalyst for my company's meteoric rise to the top of its industry.

I knew the strength of multifamily and refused to return to my single-unit property business, so I shut it down entirely.

You may either embrace the lone wolf mentality and try to develop an investment empire on your own, or you can get down with other people and form strong relationships. There are benefits and downsides to both choices.

I chose the partnership route for myself. Collaborating with investors who shared my values has been a game-changer. Working together and capitalizing on each other's skills is something I really believe in.

One thing is crucial in the world of partnerships: complementary skill sets. There is a synergy of skills and knowledge brought to the table by each partner. In real estate, it's like putting together an Avengers team: each member has a unique set of skills that contribute to the company's success.

Indeed, as mentioned by Nick Fury,

"The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they could become something more" and "A man can accomplish anything when he realizes he is a part of something bigger – a team of people who share that conviction can change the world."

Absolutely, we aren't rescuing Earth from intergalactic dangers. Achieving profitable real estate deals is our goal. But the idea behind putting together a squad remains the same. Therefore, seek for collaborators whose abilities, like a missing puzzle piece, round out your own. You can overcome any obstacle that crosses your path when you have such a strong team behind you.

A word of advice: before assembling your ideal squad, carefully assess each member's abilities and shortcomings. When you have a good grasp of your team members' strengths and weaknesses, you can distribute responsibilities more effectively. Similar to how Tony Stark's intelligence and ego both contribute to his status as Iron Man. Steve Rogers has the ability to lead the team, but he struggles to navigate the complexities of real life due to his unyielding moral compass. Although Thor's lightning can illuminate any area, he is prone to emotional outbursts. Despite her skill as a spy, Black Widow is troubled by her history. When it comes to fighting superhumans up close, Hawkeye's incredible marksmanship means nada. Bruce, on the other hand, transforms into the unstoppable Hulk while causing a plethora of unintended consequences. However, they are the effective squad that stops dangers on a Thanos-level when they work together.

Let us move on from the Avengers. I hope you understand. You may build a formidable real estate team by taking stock of each member's abilities and shortcomings. 🙌
