Negotiators?
I was wondering, who are these negotiators (in an MLS short sale), usually? Is it a contractor that the RE broker hires to deal with the bank(s), or do the agents do it? Or is it someone the bank hires to deal with another bank that holds a 2nd note on the house?

I think it can be just about anyone. Some states there are restrictions on who can negotiate but in most others it can be a 3rd party, Agent, Realtor, Mortgage Broker, investor, even the homeowner could potentially negotiate their own short sale I suppose.
