Motivated Seller Going through Divorce

Hello BiggerPockets community. I have a question. I am just starting out wholesaling and I had a motivated seller who contacted me. He originally wanted to know if i had a home or knew someone who had a home which he could rent for the time being. As I began probing I found out that he was going through a divorce and that their home was going into foreclosure and I thought that this may be a good opportunity here. The house was just built in 2015. It's a 4 bd 3br home. Needs minor repairs from what the seller told me. This is where my question comes in. I've said before that the seller is going through a divorce right? Both husband and wife's name is on the deed. He told me that he has tried to work with two realtors but she has fired them both trying to convince him to work with her realtor so that she could get a spousal leave payment or something like that. He has a court date in September which he wants me to come to court to prove that he has a motivated buyer for the property so that he may get granted permission to sell me the home. Me being a fresh wholesaler, and this being my first potential deal has left me stuck. I don't know if I should go to court with the husband or to get one of my investors to go. Could someone help me out here please?
