I'm renting a house in foreclosure. If the gavel falls against

Question:

I'm renting a house in foreclosure. If the gavel falls against a homeowner at the next (and final it says in the court document) foreclosure proceeding, is that the day the homeowner no longer owns the house?

At which time i could stop paying rents to get my last months and security dep. back over the next 2 months. (i don't think he will give it back)

Will i even have 2 months ?

Would there be any advantage to put unpaid rents after that into a separate bank account such as a escrow or should i just keep them.

Question:

If the bank gets the house back after the foreclosure can i submit a offer to them first since im in the house...and would i get preference from the bank seeing as how i'm already in the house ?

How would i proceed ?
