Municipal Lien Enforcaeble?
I have bought a property with several municipal liens.
These liens are a result for non payment of services and code violations.
What happens is the liens were recorded by the County against the previous owner of the property. For instance, owner A incurred in the violations, then transferred the property to Owner B. By the time the County filed the lien against eh property, it listed Previous owner A as the owner, but at that time the owner was Owner B.
Te County in question is Miami Dade County, in the State of Florida. Florida requires that liens must be perfected to be enforceable.
Now my question is this: is a lien issued against a property, but listing the former owner, a perfected enforceable lien in the State of Florida?
