REO agents have a different mind set, and priorities, as opposed to a buyer's agent. An REO agent is focused on servicing their clients in order to receive more listings.....they have to manage/perform routine inspections, obtain lawn maintenance, other repairs, utilities connects, etc. this is a totally different operation than finding properties for a specific buyer. Any agent can have access to any REO's hitting the market within 20 minutes of them hitting the MLS, and banks aren't going to take an offer in the first couple of days. anyway. Some REO agents may want to double end the transaction, while others won't deal with buyers at all.
