Lis Pendens Research
Aloha from Hawaii,
I'm new to this forum and seeking advice on doing research for Lis Pendens and Notice of Default filings for the purpose of pre-foreclosure purchases. Hawaii is primarily judicial, and it appears the only way to know which properties are in pre-foreclosure I must be able to provide the owner name.
Is there another way to research Lis Pendens and NOD filings without knowing the owner name? I was hoping that I could go to the recorder's office and look at filings on a daily basis, but they can't provide the filings without this information.
Could someone please advise me on an alternate method on researching. Thanks, Rey
