Tiny Commercial Real estate ideas..

Hello All! 

I have a commercial lot located across the street from a Large Grocery store  HEB, in a smaller rural Texas town. My family's 50 year old restaurant sits on half the lot, and for the other half  I have this idea that I could create a Small Shoppee created of Tiny store fronts... check out my inspiration photo: 

Does anyone know of this being done else where?  I can't be the first person to think of this! 

Ideas thoughts? Suggestions?
