Commercial Real Estate Investing Partners in MN!
I have been a commercial real estate agent in MN for over 10 years focusing on Tenant rep and landlord rep brokerage. I have been wanting to take the leap into ownership for a while. Though I originally thought residential would be a good place to start, since it is more in my price range, I have talked to a number of people in commercial who suggest that this is better. Is there anyone out there invested in both and has a strong opinion? Any one out there interested in discussing/analyzing deals?

Jeffrey, I'd be happy to connect as I am also in MN, but all my investing is outside of the twin cities metro. I've done and am doing both large commercial deals and small residential deals. My suggestion would start investing in whatever you are comfortable and familiar with, so commercial might be the way to go for you. The only main benefit of residential I see is that that barrier to entry can be smaller and easier.
