Hi BP fam! What are your recommendations, if any, on a good primer or all-around good commercial real estate book?

Commercial Mortgages 101 "Everything You Need to Know to Create a Winning Loan Request Package". It's a good book if you want to get a perspective of what commercial mortgage lenders look for when deciding to approve a loan.

"The Commercial Guide to Developing Real Estate" is very good from a fundamental understanding of developing and executing CRE.

Without a doubt it's The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Keller, Jenks, and Papasan. It's a must read when starting out.

The Confessions of a Real Estate Entrepreneur by James A Randal is a great read. The narrator is a real estate attorney that becomes an agent and investor. He teaches the principles of commercial RE (mainly retail, and office) through his previous deals, highlighting both his wins and losses. Things like deal finding, contracts, due diligence, closing are all covered.

The books Darnell recommended are great also!
