Hello BP Family-
I am contemplating selling a SFH renovated home in the Northern VA area. But it's also a great house hack opportunity going forward. Is it better to sell now in this hot market or to continue to hold?

Thanks Justin! I know the market is very cyclical and I’m not in a hurry to sell. I’m just as curious and interested what the rental market will look like by mid-year. It also seems like this is a tougher time to buy.
@Justin L.. Honestly... It's more nuanced than that. Have you run your numbers to understand your performance on your property for holding it versus selling now? What you are looking for is how you can accelerate your money. For example, if you can make up 10+ years of cashflow now with a sale, and reposition into another asset (you should be able to use the 121 exclusion to capture your gain tax free hopefully) that will propel your forward, I would certainly think about selling now!
