Dishonest Seller Disclosure
I found a property I was interested in and after receiving the disclosures, I put in an offer. During inspection, we found active termites and termite damage. It was clear that work was done very recently to remedy it. The disclosures said nothing about it. As a new investor, I never would have touched a property with active termites. Now I'm out $750 because the seller wasn't honest. What do you suggest? Should I try asking the seller to cover the cost? Has anyone had a similar situation? I know it doesn't sound like a lot of money, but I worked very hard to save up for a deal.
