Putting in offers during Covid-19

I am wanting to continue to put offers in on deals but want to know what others are doing to protect themselves if an appraisal or an inspection is delayed due to the restrictions of Covid-19?

@Jonathan Watt, I heard from an investor friend in Las Vegas that they are having a hard time finding contractors because they are preferring the idea of a paid vacation from the government to actually working.  Have you encountered this?
