It's way too early to tell. People need to remember that the buying opportunities from the last recession didn't really occur until 2009-2011, not 2008. Governments have already introduced measures to stop foreclosures and evictions so we'll have to wait and see how this develops before mentioning buying opportunities from a decade ago.
