Property Appraiser Website Philadelphia

Hey Bigger Pockets,

I have a client that says that the property appraiser website in Philadelphia does not work correctly. I have no way to verify this since I don't live near Philadelphia and have never done business there. Is there a website that can accurately tell me if information on the MLS is correct, I.E. sq. footage, number of bedrooms/Bathroom, garage info etc.

Or is my client incorrect?

@Chad Kastel What property appraiser website are you referring to? Phila.gov? If so, its not an appraiser website but its the city of Philadelphia property records site that maintains all real estate data on Philly properties including sales data, ownership, property specs, etc. But it's not meant as an appraiser site. Also, the MLS system does pull the property specs from this site and I would say for the most part it's accurate. Except for homeowners who perform updates but never pull permits therefore the City would have no record of these types of specs. I hope this helps.
