San Antonio Texas Investing
Hi All,
I'm looking to start investing in San Antonio Texas! I've been doing in-depth market research and everything seems to point me there. The state and metro GDP has had a strong positive trend over the last few years, the population has been growing over the last few years, it has a diverse job industry, crime rates have fallen, rent to value seems to be reasonable, etc.
My only concern is the the median home value which seems to be around $180,000. My plan is to BRRRR several properties in this area over the next year but I feel the capital needed is a little high for me even though I'd be looking for distressed properties.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which neighborhoods to focus on or any other experience they have had with BRRRR in San Antonio.

@Simon Schermerhorn I would recommend investing in areas where the max ARV is between $120K-$180K affordable housing is an issue here so those areas will have decent appreciation. I would stay out of the speculative areas around the downtown. Will you be trying to do this from California?
