Providence Rhode Island
Good Morning BP Community,
I currently own a condo in Portsmouth, NH and currently seeking a multi family to grow my portfolio. I am based out of Boston, MA and have heard of fellow Bostonians investing in Providence and RI in general. I am currently learning the market.
Are there any Providence RI investors on here hey could provide some insight on the area?
Does anyone have an RE agent that they would recommend that deals with investors and works in the Providence area?
Happy 4th. Thanks for any help that you could provide.
Best,
Mat

@Mathew Allen there are several of us here in RI/Providence.
I can recommend several great agents and I’m sure some will respond here too.
Besides BP I'd also recommend going to local networking groups in the Providence vicinity such as RIREIG and Black Diamond REI. You can meet a number of agents, attorneys, contractors etc. in person there and also get personal recommendations.
If you are completely unfamiliar with Providence, you should know that the East Side which is near Brown and RISD is really a separate market, high quality and high prices; it's even broken out separately in our MLS.
The west side of Providence has been up and coming for a number of years now, but the secret is kind of out and prices have risen accordingly. South Providence and Olneyville are traditionally much tougher areas.
What else would you like to know? :)
