Loyalty to a realtor?

As a smaller investor, should you be loyal to a realtor?

I don't think there's one right answer to this.

So you know im a realtor and today I got the inside track on a wholesale deal. I partnered up with someone who has been an extremely loyal client of mine and we've done deals in the past together. Individually where he worked on my investment or I helped him purchase a place and as a team where we both buy together.

I have 3 truly loyal clients and 1 loyal realtor where they are my go to on anything I think is worth while. Each has different wants/ needs so the deal needs to make sense for their investing style.

On the flip side, I have a ton of investors who work with any agent who brings them a deal.

Those guys definitely get more opportunity but do they get the inside track? If one deal only makes sense for them then sure.

Some of them are larger investors and definitely get the inside track. You know they'll close and you know they aren't tire kickers. When it makes sense you involve them.

What's your thoughts?

Btw if you're going to be loyal, make sure it is to someone who knows investments. Being an agent doesn't guarantee they know investments.

If a realtor makes me a priority I'll make them a priority; it's a two-way street.

Unfortunately, loyalty is a rarity this day and age. I've bought and told realtors to bring me more deals and they haven't. If I had a good realtor who is bringing me deals = helping me make money then it's only right I help them make money too by bringing them in on properties I'm interested in or referring buyers/sellers to them.
