HELOC on rental property in Georgia

I'm super excited that today I'm going to wire the last payment for one of my rental property to have it completely paid off in just three years. Now, I want to use that equity and put it to work and I was thinking to get a HELOC from a local credit union or bank. My question is, have anybody here done a HELOC on a rental property in Georgia? If so, where can I try first? Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Eddie Espinal, I've got an excellent mortgage banker who lends here in Georgia (and also South Carolina). I'd recommend you give him a call and see what terms are available.

Connect with me here on BP if you'd like his contact info and a warm introduction.

For the record, I receive ZERO compensation for making this referral.
