Cleveland "Hot Spots" and Attractions

Posted

I am an out of state investor gearing up to buy a property in the Cleveland area in the next 3-6 months.  I am looking at properties in the $50,000-$70,000 range.  I have purchased a 3'x4' wall map of Cleveland and plan on marking it up with all relevant information and houses I've analyzed.

I've already looked over "The Ultimate Guide to Rating Cleveland Neighborhoods".  I plan on putting all this information on my map.  What I really would like to know is other "hot spots" or "hubs" that renters look for in Cleveland and the surrounding suburbs.  I can obviously google where the major universities are but I know every city has certain attractions and places that everyone wants to live close to (best schools, universities, train stations ect.).  Can anyone with intimate knowledge of this area help me out a bit?

I plan on posting my experience with this map idea on the forums after I use it for a bit.  I feel it could be a powerful tool for out of state investors.  I just need a little help getting started.

Thanks in advance.
