Misleading Seller Disclosure - Help!

Daniel Fresella
Posted

Just closed on my first house hack on October 26th! Everything was going great with the rehab until the crawl space and basement started taking on significant water with the heavy rain here in Arkansas. I checked the inspection report and the seller disclosure. The inspection dis not find any evidence of basement flooding.

The seller disclosure shows they deny any knowledge of the basement previously flooding, however there are very obvious attempts at sealing the lower part of the foundation walls.

They even left the quickcrete bags in the crawl space!! The cost of installing proper drainage will be substantial. Looking for advice on recourse with the sellers if any is possible! Any constructive advice is welcome. Thanks!
