Need advice on business structure

Hi guys, I just got my hands on my first property, and am aggressively looking for more. Business law is definitely not my expertise, but I have been made aware I should start an LLC for my real estate. Do you guys do this online through websites like legal zoom or have your accountant/lawyer do it for you? Also, I am a little unsure since my primary residence is in New Jersey but most of my properties will be in Pennsylvania, how does that work? Just looking for any advice from people who have gone through this or have any tips in general.

Thanks in advance,

Danny Golub

@Daniel Golub i you want to take your time learning about entities and how to run them the DIY route is fine. I create my own LLC all the time.

However there are a lot of decision to make and a lot of considerations. If you don't want to that the time to learn the skip legal zoom an go to an attorney that can answer your questions.

A great place to learn about entities like LLCs is NOLO Press. They have a good website and very good books. Even if you have an attorney help you, having some background information will help you get more out of the attorney.
