Tree removal service - just need a ballpark
Never requested it before, so just trying to get a ballpark figure..
Very tall tree (just like others in the background of the picture)
Backyard of SFH, easy access.
No power lines close to it.
Also need the stump removed.

Would it be much cheaper if asked to cut in pieces and leave in place vs. hauling it away?
thanks!!

We always say to get multiple bids on any contract job. I've seen bids vary by a factor of three or four. Tree service is by far the worst and I've had bids where the high bid is almost 10X the lowest bid. It seems almost random. I'd guess somewhere between $500 and $1500. Don't know about the hauling away. They will certainly charge for cutting it up (into firewood length pieces?) and will likely charge for hauling it away.
