Investment partnership structure
Hi all, I am an older retired designer who has owned a triplex for 31 years and a 9 plex that I bought three years ago. I want to invest in a 19 plex but my wife and is hesitant and I am somewhat concerned about the risk due to my age at 64 and the time it will take for the property to appreciate. Now comes the partnership idea. I have a couple of young investors willing to go in on the 19 plex but I'm not sure how to structure the ownership, mortgage, management, and any other issues that come with this type of deal. I would love to hear from others who have gone this route and who may have contracts or suggestions on how to approach this.
Thanks,
Dave
