Can I use several realtors concurrently
Good afternoon all.
I am just a newbie and I am wroking to get my fist deal done by the end of this year and I was recommended a realtor by a friend of mine who has been investing successfully for the last couple of years.
From the contract that he sent to me, it seems to state that he(his frim) would be my exclusive agent to help me with my house hunting for the duration of the agreement (1 year). Obviously I have questions that need clarifications from him. But since BP has some great and expereciend investors, I thought to get some answers here. So my questions are as follows:
1. Can I work with different agents at the same time?
2. Can I find houses on my own (reators.com, drive for dollars, etc...) while this agreement is valid and not having concerns about breaching the contract?
3. how the comission pay works when a seller has an agent and I use mine as well in the deal? does my agent still get his 6% of the deal as stated in the agreement from the seller? Would I be responsible to pay the remainder if the seller does not pay the full 6% to my agent?
