First Sheriff's Auction

Went to my first sheriff's auction today, just to observe and see what the process is. So now I'm looking for the best way to find information about the properties that they auction off during these. I found the local website that showed where the links were to upcoming properties that are going to be auctioned, but I'm curious to know more. For example, if the documents online say "By virtue of a judgement of foreclosure made in the above entitled action on (XYZ date), in the amount of $xxx.xx, I will sell at public auction", etc. Does this mean that the starting bid for that property is going to be the amount listed there? Or where could I find specific information detailing what the starting bid would be or what the plaintiff's bid is? Any advice for learning on this topic is appreciated, thanks!
