Help on a commercial deal

A friend of mine brought up a possible deal in Colorado Springs. Here is the situation, the owner is moving out of state and wants to sell the land with several stores already on it, providing income to pay for the loan. My question is where would he start to get financing for the land? I don't want to divulge a dollar amount, but it's pretty large. Any advice on who to turn to would be great. V/r, Joshua Cowan
