best return - 1 or 2 bedroom apartment purchase? Tampa FL area

Im looking to buy a 1 or 2 bedroom condo to rent.  Which will give me a better return on investment?  Which is easier to rent?

I would never buy a 1 bedroom ever again.  I had a 1/1 in Houston, TX years ago and ended up giving it away (the neighborhood changed from airport workers to hookers and drug dealers).  I learned my lesson the hard way - you have a hard time renting a 1 bedroom and even harder time selling one.
