Rashad, I used to believe the AMO (accredited management organization) designation was a good indicator of a good management company but I've learned quite the contrary these past few years. I had TR Lawing in Charlotte and they are AMO and they are horrible. I contacted Birch Management in Greensboro trying to work with them to buy more investment property. I met with them face to face and pretty much offered them commission on purchases and management on a silver platter but after I left their office I couldn't get them to be interested in helping me. I can't help but think if they won't help me, they probably won't be attentive to my tenants request. Both Birch and TR Lawing have AMO, but if you look on Google, both have terrible reviews. So my latest manager in Charlotte is Bottom Line Realty & Management. They have great reviews on google and have proved to be a much better choice for my Charlotte property. The company @Jared Rogers recommended, Real Property Management of the Triad, has great reviews on Google. So I would suspect they would be a good start. I personally don't have any property in Greensboro, only Winston and Charlotte right now. Also there was a video that was just in our newsletter about how to spot the difference between a good property manage and a great property manager. Here's the link to that video: https://youtu.be/M7gRYtPd-Xo Good luck!
