first time buying with seller financing

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and had my first question for the community.  I'm interested in buying a property and want to propose seller financing.  I understand this conceptually, but now that I'm ready to act, I'm not sure where to get forms for notes, contracts, etc.  I assume consulting with an attorney but was curious what you had to say.

I was also curious about how payments are handled.  Do they typically go directly to the seller or is a third party used to avoid any disputes on balance still owed years down the line, etc.

Thanks,

Chris
