San Antonio Duplex

I'm looking to buy a multi-unit property in San Antonio in the near future.  My wife and I will live in one of the units and we've been preapproved for $275000.  Any local land lords with advice or what to be aware of when we start our search?  Ideally I'd like to be around the 281 and 410, but Alamo Heights ISD seems to be pretty pricey.

Thanks for any help!

Check out 133 David Ct. 78209. Duplex for $259K Looks like a deal.  Still in the city of SA, so no super Alamo Heights taxes.  Looks like its listed with Keller Williams City-View
