Seeking Advice, What Would You Do in My Situation?

Hello everyone. I have been a carpenter for almost 20 years. I opened my own business in 2015 and I stayed pretty busy with working as a sub and building new clients. I was working on new home additions, new construction, and custom interior finishing. About 4 years ago, I got presented with an opportunity to teach at a vocational schooI and I took the job because I believed it was an awesome gig. The pay isn't bad but its a tight budget. Now, not only do I really miss doing the work and the decent pay that came with it, but I also feel like I could crush it today with quality work and doing a lot of the work myself. I'm thinking about getting back into the game but putting my primary focus on new home building, and fix/flip renovations. I really don't make a lot of money as a teacher and I don't have a lot of funds to get started. How can I acquire money without using my primary residence? Any suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated. I would love to open an LLC, buy ready to build land, or existing distressed homes and flip/fix. Is this thought and or goal attainable at this time? I'd like to finish the school year out and have a plan to jump into it come summer. My goal would to be a full-time real estate investor/ custom home builder and do most of the work myself until I have enough to hire and oversee the company. Thanks again!
