Private financing available?

What does “private financing available” mean under the Listing Terms section on the MLS. Does this mean seller financing? Property is listed as a short sale and I didn't think you could seller finance a short sale, so I'm assuming it means "get a private lender", but I haven't seen it worded like that before. Anyone know?

@Elise Wharton

I recommend to Ask the sellers agent on what it means as it can mean many different things. It could be property does not qualify for conventional financing (most likely scenario if a short sale)

If it is a short sale the lender must approve the sale which can take considerable amount of time
