Where can I sell my property in Indiana if I'm out of state?

Hey yall, does anyone know of a good place to put my property up for sale? I'm an out of state investor from Hawaii and I would like to sell my property sometime this year.

If the cost of commissions is one of your main concerns, I'd look harder at the situation.  You are likely to get a lower price without one. If you end up getting a price 10% lower than what you could have gotten placing it on the MLS, you actually paid MORE to not use an agent.  I've never been a real estate agent but in my experience, their value exceeds the cost of commission.

The right agent will make the process much easier instead of you having to “deal with commissions…”.  Find someone who has the experience and is hungry to work hard for you and the commissions will pay for themselves.

Best of luck with the 1031 and I would be ready to identify properties as quickly as possible. It’s a little tough these days with thin inventory everywhere.

@Chase Maglangit - I am a little confused about your question?   You can sell your property on the MLS like any other real estate transaction right?  I'd work with @Eudith Vacio above.  She works in Chicago and NW indiana.

@Dustin Allen thank you! The property is located in Evansville. I was hoping I could just sell it to someone without dealing with all the commissions and stuff that come with an agent. Nice! I live on Oahu the weather is beautiful right now!

The best place would be to talk to a local real estate agent that specializes in the area where your property is located. Agents, on average, will net you 15% more than if you try to FSBO or using other discount methods.

I had a client who bought at Makaha Towers and in less than a year needed to move - to minimize the cost of her selling it, she decided to sell it herself through Facebook marketplace.   So you might try that - she said it was a pretty easy process.
