Decide to Pay off property

Hello,

I’m looking for advice, here is the scenario; I have 8 property’s owing xx amount. If I sell 1 property, I can pay off the others and be debt free, this includes my current residence. If I do this I will have $100k annually, and I would like to retire in 5 years. Pros and cons of this scenario would be helpful to my decision. Thank you in advance.

Speaking for myself, I sleep better at nights, now that my Houses are paid off. I just opened a Line of Credit on my Houses, and may use that for Real Estate investing this year .
