How much to pay for a used mobile home!

Looking to buy a mobile home and put it on some land I am buying.

I have my eyes on a 1983 fleet wood doublewide model. It seems in good condition but all the flooring has been torn out and it doesn’t have a furnace currently in it. They’re asking 75k for it which seems very expensive to me for something that’s half torn up.

Any input?

@Theresa Reynolds Values of mobile homes will depend on your local market and the condition of these homes. If you're just starting out, you may want to visit a few mobile homes for sale and inspect them before settling on one to buy. This will give you an idea of the market and what homes are going for in the area regarding to their condition.

Also, you may want to talk to a few local mobile home dealerships. In the past, I've found them to be good sources of information and insight when studying the market. They may also have a few referrals on people who are trying to sell their older, used mobile home to buy a new one. This may give you a few leads to check out in your search.

Hope that helps!
