Hello BP Family,
With some unexpected occurrences as life typically has, moving to a new state soon and meeting new partners/lenders, it may seem to be that investing in Mobile Home Parks could be on the horizon for me. I am still a new investor and have been on BP for a while researching buy and hold strategies. Aside from the forum here, can anyone suggest some educational materials for getting into something such as investing in a Mobile Home Park? This is a whole new beast from what I've been looking at up until this point. Thank you for your time and assistance.

First, I would set "alerts" with Bigger Pockets to notify you when "mobile home parks" are being discussed. It will keep you in the loop and is a great education source. Second, do a search for "mobile home parks" on the site and it will pull up a lot of content. I posted about training materials a while back and @John Jacobus provided a wonderful post, which I copied and pasted below.
I highly recommend doing a boot camp with Mobile Home University -- well worth the price.

Hi Matthew!
Congratulations on your decision. I’m a fairly new investor too (My company has fairly recently acquired 2- eight units apartment complexes, 2 duplexes, and a handful of SFHs).
I, like you, got the “MHP itch”. So, I currently have two MHPs under contract. The parks are within 1/2 mile of each other. They are located on the outskirts of Huntsville, Alabama.
I listened to the two BP podcasts with Jefferson Lilly. I also listened to every podcast that Jefferson Lilly has produced. These podcasts have a wealth of outstanding information. The name of the podcast is “Mobile Home Park Investing”. I also ordered the Mobile Home Park University’s 30 days of Due Diligence”. This manual also has a ton of outstanding information. Furthermore, the two guys that run Mobile Home University sometimes have podcasts (they recently interviewed a former MLB player about his MHP investing experience).
If you are looking to partner in this endeavor, my partner and I are looking for an additional partner in the MHPs if you interested, please send me a message.

@Scott Starkey Thank you for your response! I am working on relocating from RI to FL this year. As soon as I do and if I end up making some moves towards investing in MHP I will definitely reach out and see if we can make some deals happen!

@Matthew Charron You may want to start out by reading books and listening to podcasts on the subject. Should be pretty easy to find through a quick search online. Good luck!
