Are you getting the most out of BiggerPockets?

Question

Many members contribute to this site in a number of different formats.  I was just curious the areas people visit and why perhaps some areas seem underutilized.

BP has blogs, news articles, member articles and a number of  other useful resources.  It seems though that the forums perhaps get the most use.  Perhaps though it only seems that some are missing out.

BP has some great blogs.  On many different topics.  I've been enjoying learn much more about mobile home park investing.

I don't checkout the member articles to often, but I have found some great suggestions there.  The news bulletins can be a great place to quickly learn about what is going on as well.

I enjoy the forums because it is a great place to interact and ask questions, but I also love to visit the areas to tap some of the knowledge investors have shared and go through the news that other investors have found.

So what are your thoughts.  I could be all wet, perhaps these other areas are visited frequently, but only a few comment.

I stick to the recent forum feed and try to review the last 24 hours every day. I would love to read the blogs but they are so poorly organized. I've read some great stuff in the weekly emails.

I tend to stick to the forums. I've gone through some of the articles, but didn't find them as thorough or as useful as the articles I've seen on other sites.

I do follow a couple of the blogs, and think that there is a lot of good information there. Some of that really good information though can get buried in the thousands of posts on hundreds of blogs. Maybe some sort of rating system good be used to help keep higher-rated blogs visible?

I'd love to see more questions in the DIY section of the forums. That, and the landlording, are where I have the most knowledge, but they don't seem to be used very often.

I tend to visit the forums, the BP Blog and peruse the member blogs from time to time. BP continues to be a great resource and community for all real estate investors alike, go BP!  :D

I also spend the majority of my time in the forums.  I enjoy the other areas as well.  Though it is clear that they are less visited.

There is a wealth of information in the blogs, articles and the resource center that largely goes untapped I'm afraid.

I'd be curious what others had to say about this.

For me, I currently spend most of my time here in the Forums.  It's not that I have no interest in the Blogs or Articles, it's mostly because when I go to the Dashboard, the latest Forum posts are presented to me, so that's what I click on.

I do tend to check out the blogs and articles more when I get the emails that link to them.

Besides the blogs, articles, forums and bulletins, there are a number of other resources that are useful.  I admit that I don't check out the property listing very often, but I just learned that you can sort through these very easily and also check out deal were people are looking for partners.

For anyone that doesn't visit the resource center on occasion you may be missing some good resources.  I see that the lay out is different again and there are more resources.  I recommend checking it out now and then.

I would second the idea that a suggestion box might be useful.  Not only for articles or blogs, but even for areas that members might want to see more content.  I appreciated Marc Freislinger's comment it gives me some ideas of topics to bring up in the forums.
